Body Building for the elderly


One would rarely think that with age, it is much more important to do bodybuilding than when he is younger. The balance, the muscles and even the pads under the feet can disintegrate and disappear if nothing is done to improve them. People often discover this the hard way because few people will discuss ways to avoid old age problems. A good lifestyle, a good diet, exercises and protection of the joints are all part of survival with a good quality of life.
These things are known because of my age and the circumstances that brought me to a gym to improve my overall health. After spending years sitting writing without considering excess weight, we were shocked to learn that a blood test revealed a fatty liver. As a former medical student, it has been very hard because it is a precursor to cancer.
Looking at me well, it was obvious that the additional weight transported unnecessarily deprived me of energy as well as other things. One of the worst things was my tendency to stumble over anything in front of me. Once on the floor, it was impossible for me to get up and bounce on my buttocks until something that helps me to help me is not pleasant.
One day, I fell face down in the garden and I could not raise my arms to get up. After several minutes, there was no choice but to push as hard as possible on those stubborn muscles to get out of the situation. It took about a week for the arms to recover.
This kind of thing is useless because a change in my lifestyle would prove it soon. First, no sugar or salt was my answer to the sanitary situation. The fruits contain sugar and even that is off the menu. However, it was reintroduced as a smoothie for breakfast, replacing oats and other foods. Yogurt with more protein and at least four fruits and a stick of celery is now my usual lunch.
Joining a gym has been one of the best solutions to my problems. The physiotherapy trainers put me through exercises that corrected my balance so that I would not stumble now. If and when I am on the ground, as part of gymnastic exercises, it is easy to get up and in 8 months, my weight has been reduced by 8 kg.
Although there is still a long way to go because the weight is still too high, at least the muscles are rebuilding on my arms and legs. Cycling at the gym is one of the best exercises and it is beneficial to spend half an hour a day on it and travel 6 kilometers.
There is another great bonus received for attending the gym. Over time, there are now many friends to cuddle and talk. Some people spend time after PT sessions and we discuss things in general. This is what the elderly miss, especially if they live alone. All things considered bodybuilding for the elderly is a must.
